Getting to QBL and Wells College
Driving
The New York State Thruway (Interstate Route 90) is 25 miles to the north. Route 17 (the Southern Tier Expressway and the future I-86) is approximately 50 miles to the south. Route I-81 is 30 miles to the east.
From the New York State Thruway traveling West
Exit at Weedsport (#40); make a right onto Route 34 south to Auburn; make a right onto Routes 5 & 20 west and a left onto Route 326 to the village of Union Springs; turn left on local Route 90 to Aurora.
From the New York State Thruway traveling East
Exit at Waterloo (#41); turn right at the tollbooth and turn left again onto Route 318. Make a left onto Routes 5 & 20 east; then a right onto local Route 90 through the villages of Cayuga and Union Springs to Aurora.
From Route 17/ Interstate 86 and traveling West
Take I-81 to Homer exit (#12); make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 281 north; a left onto Route 90 (very soon after turning onto Route 281); take local 90 to Aurora (approximately 40 miles).
From Route 17/ Interstate 86 and traveling East
Exit at Route 13 (#54) north to Ithaca; exit off of Route 13 onto Route 34 north to Lansing; make a left onto Route 34B; make another left onto Route 90 in King Ferry; nine miles to Aurora.
Traveling by Air
There are airports in Ithaca (Tompkins-Cortland Regional), Syracuse (Hancock International), and Rochester (Rochester International). Flights on American Airlines and United arrive in Ithaca from major northeastern cities. Both Syracuse and Rochester, each approximately one hour from campus, are served by the nation’s major airlines and have direct flights and connections everywhere in the United States and abroad.

If you are interested in renting a sewing machine you can rent a machine from Jon's Sewing Machines and have it delivered to QBL! Please call 315-594-2099 or visit the website for more information.
Shipping supplies:
Sending Supplies: If you would like to send some of your supplies ahead of time, please send them to the address listed below. Be sure to write Quilting by the Lake and the name of your teacher on the outside of your package to facilitate delivery to your classroom. Packages MUST be shipped to arrive between Monday July 8 and Friday July 12. We CANNOT access packages that arrive on the weekend until Monday morning (first day of classes) due to the Wells staff being off work on the weekends.
Please do not send any packages to the Schweinfurth Art Center. Ship to and label your package as follows:
