Summer Art Camp: Mixed Media Madness!

Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
Ages: 11-15
Cost: $135 members, $145 non-members
Campers will work with a different combination of mediums for this camp. We’ll work together to create well-crafted multidisciplinary artwork that the campers will go mad about! Some projects will incorporate ceramics with printmaking, others will include painting and fabric sculpture! The goal of this camp is to allow campers the freedom to explore their creativity through experimenting with multiple mediums.
Masks may be required in the classroom depending on community spread. Masks requirements may be subject to change. If you are not willing to wear a mask please do not register for our youth classes.
About the Teacher
Gwendolyn Andersen is an interdisciplinary artist whose work allows her to interpret her experiences in life to visual expression. Through her employment as Studio Coordinator at the Northwest Family YMCA, she has ample opportunity to learn from fellow artists while also maintaining her craft. Her position allows her to teach multiple children’s classes, as well as ceramic courses. She specializes in drawing, painting, and ceramic sculpture.
