CLASSES


QBL offers two sessions of 5-day workshops taught by nationally and internationally recognized quilt artists and teachers. All classes are held at Hobart & William Smith Colleges.


Each session begins with check-in at Registration on Sunday, which is scheduled from 12:00 pm to 4:30 p.m. Orientation begins at 4:30 in the Scandling Center Common Room. It is followed by the Opening Banquetwhich includes introduction of QBL faculty and a lecture by one of our faculty members. Each session officially ends on Friday with a Closing Banquet, the final class Show & Tell, and the Scholarship Raffle drawings and auction. 


Workshops meet Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. There is a break for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Workshops resume at 1:00 p.m. and continue till 4:00 p.m.


Addition materials fees may apply to some workshops, which will be indicated on the class information and the supply list for those classes. These materials fees are paid directly to the teacher during the first day of class.
