When: August 9-13, 1-4pm
Learn how to sew a quilt! Students will make small quilts and explore several techniques for creating designs that make up quilt tops. Learn how to design by cutting and piecing fabrics, and how to use the sewing machine to put the three layers of a quilt all together. There is a limit of 8 students in this camp.
Art Camps will be held in person in our spacious studio spaces. Students will be required to wear face masks and maintain social distance.

About the teacher:
Pam Capon is an award winning quilter who has been quilting since 1975. Her quilts have been exhibited at the Lowell Quilt Festival in Lowell, MA, Genessee Valley Quilt Show in Rochester,NY, and The Schweinfurth Art Center, in Auburn, NY. She has been teaching quilting for the last 25 years at various quilt shops, and quilt guilds throughout NY State as well as in her home studio. As the Vice President of the Quilt Consortium of New York State she has been one of the judges choosing the quilts to be included in the Best of New York Quilt Show (sponsored by QCNYS) since 2017. She also enjoys gardening, reading, and seeing her 4 grandsons whenever possible.
