Amanda McCavour is a Toronto-based artist who works with stitch to create large-scale embroidered installations. McCavour holds a BFA from York University where she studied drawing and in May 2014 she completed her MFA at Tyler School of Art. She has completed residencies at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, at Struts Gallery, Sackville, NB and at the Klondike Institute of Art And Culture in Dawson City. McCavour shows her work in galleries nationally and internationally with solo exhibitions in 2017 in Seattle (WA), Okotoks (AB), Brantford (ON) St. Catherines (ON) and State College (PA).
