Pen & Ink with Watercolor

If you have ever wondered about the urban sketch movement, this is the class for you! Learn to draw with simple perspective in a sketchbook format. Discuss and practice different line and drawing techniques of the old and modern masters.

Working with simple still lifes as well as location se-ups and photographs, students will learn how to bring any scene to life! We will graduate from light value washes to watercolor. Explore traditional techniques with a crow quill pen, as well as sharpies and other markers. We will experiment with different inks, and make some of our own to use.
